Ueno Project Laboratory focuses on HIV-1 Immunology research. Specifically we are interested to investigate how the host immunity act to contain HIV-1 infection and also how HIV-1 virus evades the immune system. We are currently looking for individuals who have great interest in doing scientific research in HIV / AIDS with an excellent track record, we are offering good salary, opportunities to advance knowledge and experience in research and exposure to research at international level.

 

POSTS:

 

1.POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW 

         CREDENTIALS

• Hold a doctorate degree

• Postdoctoral experience of at least 1 year.

• Post-doctoral fellow must be well versed in molecular biology techniques such as western blotting, PCR, cell culture, plasmid preparation, Flow cytometry analysis and sequencing.

 

2.LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

           CREDENTIALS

• Holds a degree in biology; biomedical science; biotechnology; chemistry and pharmacology

• The applicant should have the ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical problems; the ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment.

• Time management skills in order to work on several different projects at the same time; and flexibility in order to work with and provide support for a number of people.

• Excellent oral communication skills in order to work effectively with colleagues from all parts of the organization and to explain complex techniques to interested parties.
